Indoor/Outdoor
We often work on the relationship of indoor and outdoor spaces in urban environments from our first NYC project (Starr Building from 2004 when we cut a courtyard into the residential side of a mixed-use factory building). This project won a NYC Dept of Enviro Protection Green Apple award in 2005. During the 2020 pandemic - this concept of indoor/outdoor is more important than ever before.
