We were Fellows at the Institute of Public Architecture (2016) studying Live/Work for the Workforce as a team with Angela Co and Xiaoyin Li. From this research and our own experience living/working in Brooklyn and helping artists and performers over the years to adapt their space for both living and working - we have gained a lot of experience focusing on Live/Work. Julie is a Loft Law Board Member at the NYC Loft Law Board - an entity that focuses on landlord and tenant issues in Loft Law buildings which are commercial buildings that are on a pathway to residential for their Interim Multiple Dwelling Units. Julie was appointed as a public member of the board by the Mayor in May 2018.
