For its 25th anniversary, Brooklyn Coop Federal Credit Union purchased its own building in the neighborhoods it serves - Bushwick and Bedford - Stuyvesant - to serve as the flagship with two smaller locations in Cypress Hills and Bed Stuyvesant. FNA studio designed the space to embody the Credit Union's economic justice mission, using colorful, non0-toxic materials and textures to create spaces where the community can gather around financial services and learning opportunities. The Credit Union has over 6500 members and now has a home base where member services, loan services, teller area, and gathering space for trainings and events are provided.

Entry along Myrtle Ave and the elevated M train line
25th Anniversary Opening party
Entry way featuring curved wipe matt graphic at the ground and a maple plywood waiting area that allows members to stand, sit, and even sit several layers deep or store a carriage or cart.
Loan Officer Area featuring stained plywood walls and creating semi-private zones for conversations with members.
Teller Area
Teller Area with tree beyond - a focal point and the logo of the Credit Union is the tree at the center.
Member services area featuring bamboo, terracotta, jute and fabric acoustic panels
Gathering area for trainings and events which features a collage of a block party at BCFCU's former location on Grove St including a mural on their facade. Its important to show the common neighborhood history.
Break area for staff to chill out and relax during their work day
Vendors are members of the Credit Union and here are serving their food at the 25th Anniversary party
