NYC Council is working on Intro 1957 for outdoor dining opportunities for restaurants and for street vendors as NYC opens after 3 months of shutdown due to COVID19.

FNA testified in the public hearing and provided visual and policy ideas for an Open Street that demonstrates coexistence of restaurants and vendors together. And opportunities for vendors where Open Streets include many streets adjacent to parks where we hope to see vendors able to earn a living without harassment from the police.
