This single-family landmarked brownstone is in the final stage of an energy-efficiency retrofit that included passive house strategies using high-performance windows, doors, and skylights. Airtightness at front and rear exterior walls and an ERV unit providing fresh air efficiently for maximum comfort.  Historic stairs are being refurbished and the new passive house skylights provide natural light to the core of the home. A kitchen and bathroom renovation and new flooring throughout will update the 19th century home to perform as a state-of-the-art home. The brownstone facade and stoop are currently being resurfaced and solar panels were installed by Brooklyn Solarworks.
