We completed two residential projects with the NYC Build It Back Program in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn. We were the architect of record on each FEMA project and were part of a small cohort of architecture firms working with WXY Studio. Here is one that was Elevated above the Design Flood Elevation as per FEMA with a new addition that includes the kitchen, bathroom, and mechanical room. 

The construction photos show the existing home being lifted. Cribbing is visible as they slowly lift the home to its final height. New helical piles, grade beams, and perimeter foundations are going in. The home is being elevated 5ft and will be moved further back on to its lot.
